My budgie laid 2 eggs. One on the 9th and one on the 11th July. Today she punctured one of the eggs, so I had to chuck it, I did noticed it was unfertilised. The other egg also look unfertilised. I tried to take the breeding box away, placed it on top of the cage, but she went upside down to be next to it. I have placed it back on the cage. How do I seperate her from the box and egg? Please, anybody have an answer? Thank You.

Do you have a male with her? To remove the nest box just take it out and put it where she can't see it.

Just remove the next box or anything like it, and she will be fine.

Thank you. She is now quite happy. She does have her partner with her, and they are billing and cooing all day long!
