Got up this morning to budgie missing from cage. They have their cage open at all times and come and go as they please but are most comfortable in their cage. they come out for a fly, sit on top of the cage and then back in. They have lived this way for over a year so don't understand why she may have escaped. Windows are open at the bottom just a tiny bit and she would have had to clamber over candles and knick knacks in order to get through it, which seems unlikely. However, she must have done as i can't find her anywhere and when her partner tweets she doesn't response which she always does normally.
I live in Mersey Lane South, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead so if anyone find her please contact me on 078 778 39987 her name is Toni and she is green.

I am really sorry to hear of this. Given what you said about how difficult it would have been for her to get out of the window, I am guessing you are absolutely sure she is not still in the room perhaps having injured herself having fallen down the back of a piece of furniture? I am sorry to raise this distressing possibility but it seems important to rule it out.

I have looked behind and under everything. Charlie isn't calling for her as he would normally be when they are out at different times so he must know she isn't there. he looks so forlorn. it was horrible last night to think of her outside in the rain, frightened and alone.

So sorry - very sad. I wd be in bits too. Let's hope someone has found her and she is being taken care of. It is a warning to us all esp in this hot weather.

i have rung various vets and they have taken my details and also put an alert on a couple of Facebook pages for lost and found pets, nothing yet.
I sobbed last night when I saw her little rope she used to like to feed through the rungs of her ladder, she would spend hours threading it through and back again.

This is so sad, I can only imagine what you must be going through. Don't give up just yet.
