I am pleased to say that Bea, Georgie and Poppy are really having a wonderful time in my garden. But, I think they must think I am leader of the flock as they are always waiting for me!! If they see me in my kitchen they come up to the door and wait (as if I would be giving them a treat or something???) Well really!!!! As if I would!! They are however testing the boundaries so to speak:

They are just lovely! Not sure what one of the gang that is edging into the kitchen, but watch out or they will be sat like that on your sofa before long!

Got to say that is the door to the conservatory so they are a 'room' away from the kitchen! I think I shall have to get a kiddies gate - you know, like the ones you put at the top and bottom of the stairs!! I was giving them a 'treat' this afternoon and only two turned up - I couldn't find the third one - hastily making it across the conservatory towards the kitchen!Needless to say it was Bea, the bold one!

It's very hard not to skysmum, but they must eat their proper food otherwise we won't get any eggs! They should be coming into lay very soon now, I can't wait! Love your Dad's chooks mizloco, very smart chooks!

My brain has just remembered that we used to have what my mother called chukie eggs and soldiers for breakfast.

Do you know what breed of chooks Mizloco's dad has starlingqueen? They look like wyandottes, possibly cross breeds.
