Yes I agree with you samwiseg, one of those was definitely a long tailed tit. Strange as they usually fly around and gather in groups (I was going to say 'mobs'!!). Lovely video tho skysmum, I love to see the wild birds when they bathe.

Yes i thought there was a mix, def a long tail in there, i must have had at least 20 in the tree bug hunting and then going down for a bath, had to share . Hezz i was standing at an awkward angle trying not to spook them , glad you wern't sea sick .

Aaaahhhh that is sooooo sweeeeeet samwiseg. I love long tailed tits, they are stunning! My chickens do that, I know there are only three but they always stand on one another especially when they go to sleep!!!

Ohhhh sam that was just adorable and funny too, bad luck if you get the outside spot . Ive often said to OH i would love to put a night vision camera in the Apple tree, its a real hubbub of activity in the evenings, im sure i have allsorts roosting in there .

That is just sooooo not fair!!! Poor little bird who first decides on where to roost gets the outside spot! I am indignant for him!!! But lovely, totally beautiful. I so love little birds.

skysmum Hezz - do not worry about the unfair bit, I am reliably informed that they re-jostle around in the night so that the centre one takes his/her turn on the outside and the outside ones take their turns in the middle! And we think we are the superior of the species
