A happy and sad update for you guys, whilst all chicks are still alive and greedy as ever it has now become apparent after isolation for the youngest and the remainign visual Lacewing, Baby, that he is suffering a bad case of French Moult, the middle chick Speedy has no signs of it and the oldest Fatty has a mild case. Fatty has lost some tail feathers and a couple of flights so I expect him to recover well and he and Speedy are in their nursery cage and starting to eat seeds and get into lots of mischief. They go back in the brooder at night still. Baby however is back in the brooder full time on his own as it has come to the point where he looses feathers as he moves, upon cleaning his feet last night I touched his tail and 4 came out in my hand Have upped his feedings and giving him a prolyte mix in every feed as well. He may end up living with Munchkin if I can persuade Munch he is a bird not a human which isn't going well as he's petrified of these chicks lol. Will update with pictures after when I take some new ones. Keeping my fingers crossed for these chicks. I know someone mentioned once they dunk the chicks in something? Was this for FM and what was it you used and how? Anything that could help would be brill.
