Hi. I am new . I have problem. My budgie eats from my hand but afraid of my hand. He do not want to step my hand and eat. He is 6 month old male. He 40 days he is with me. I read most of the materials about taming. Butniw I can not get next step. Stepping to my hand. Do you have any advice. thanks in advanace

Try using a perch for him to step up on, this is how I started with Jo, it does take time , some others will come on and tell you it can take months or years. They are all different. Some of the more experience people will be around later and can help you better.
Once Jo was on the perch I used to move it to my other hand slowly and put millet in between my fingers. Now he is always on my hands. Some other people's bird never hand train.

I think Suesbird covered it pretty well there. Some will, Some won't and it takes time and patience. Just keepdoing what you are doing and one day your bud will stand on your hand. Welcome to the forum.

I had the same problem with my male budgie. The only tip I can give u is to be patient. I kept putting my hand in the cage (but away from him, like playing with other budgie) even kept feeding him (although he flow away when finished). And now he will hop on my hand and even play with my fingers.
