Hi guys, I'm a budgie breeder, and I got to experience what its like for a pair to lay for the first time. The hatchlings are now fledged and what a wonderful thing it is to experience. My concern now is how to clean the poop that in the nestbox. If you'll guys can give me advice on how to clean it without hurting the babies. Tnx

You say they have fledged then they shouldn't be in the nest now, so it seems they havn't fledged. Just put the chicks in a ice cream container with some shavings, clean the nest out replace shaving put the chicks back in wallah done.

I use removable concaves. It can be removed/replaced in less than a minute. The dirty ones can be washed, dried and disinfected.

But even then, you will need a box to put the chicks in, as Corie said.
