Putting egg out of the box

Hi,

I have recently bought a pair of budgies and a few days ago the female budgie started to lay eggs. But after laying 2 eggs it stopped entering the box and today I found one of the two eggs outside the box in the cage. I am not quite sure about the age of my budgies and also don't know if this is the first clutch. Can anyone tell me the possible reason of putting the egg out of the box?

There must be some disturbance to her. Did you move the next box or breeding cage?
