Ah, no way. This is too sad. I used to watch your videos on youtube all the time. I'm so sorry about Chi-Chi. I seriously hope everything turns out alright. If there's any bright side to this, at least the tumour is in a place where they're able to operate.
Best of luck with everything. Let us know how it turns out. xx

Katie, I have good news! Chi-Chi was able to have his tumor removed on November 11th - at the cost of losing his tail. But it's ok because he is making a remarkable recovery! So far he's looking great, so let's just hope he continues to make a full recovery so he can go back to living a normal, happy life. Marianne, yes he is still lively! I'd say he's almost 100% back to normal. He's out of his makeshift "hospital cage" and back in his regular cage now. He's been dancing and chirping and playing with his toys He was acting a bit chilly when I put him back in his normal cage so I put a heat lamp on it and that seems to have helped. budgiefriend, his balance is great! The missing tail doesn't seem to have affected his balance at all, as surprising as that sounds. He still sleeps on one foot. And at the vet's office, he even flew and landed on the vet's hand - then he flew back to me when I called him! jellybean, thanks for the love and hugs And thanks Moogie, OP, and skysmum for your kind comments and good wishes!

Oh, I'm such an idiot, I didn't even see the other pages! (>‿<) It's been awhile since I've been on this forum haha...
But I'm so glad he got through it! He looks good in the picture, and I'm glad to hear that he's still capable of flying and balancing. Good for Chi-Chi! I knew you'd made the right decision.
