This is WONDERFUL news! Looking forward to seeing the reunion photos I so know what that feeling is like OP, especially when I brought Wiggy home from the vets - as soon as I brought him in he shouted for the others as he could hear them and they then went mad! Brings a tear to the eye

Fantastic news , im so pleased for you and the rest of the gang Hezz. It was your quick thinking and getting her straight to the vet, time is of the essence with them isn't it and you are sooo lucky having a great vet that knows what they are doing .

Still not results back, so back in tomorrow. I have just told Karen she has a fan-base across the world; she was quite chuffed by that. She said that was sweet and it would keep her going all day, and thank you, everyone. Tomorrow I take the ute and go pick up my plastic corner pieces. I let the little Madam out for a fly about in my room yesterday afternoon. After a couple of short flits she just sat around, either on me or the curtain rail. As it was so hot and couldn't have the fan on, I decided to put her back in the cage and take her back out to the others. Ha!!!! I spent twice as long getting her back into the cage as she had originally had out, and she flew more than twice as far getting away from the cage. She didn't necessarily want to fly around; she just didn't want to go back into that cage!!! Can't blame her either - a week of being enclosed in that relatively small space ..........

Both yesterday and today I could hear her telling off the relevant vets that she was in no way amused with their administrations. The surgery rooms are definitely NOT sound-proof.

Karen phoned me last night at 8.20pm to tell my Smudge's results had finally come back - yes she did still have traces of lead in her blood, remembering that the blood wasn't taken until Monday when she had had at least five, if not six or seven, lots of treatment, as they started her off with two injections a day to get on top of it quickly. So no more treatment, woo hoooooooooo
