A good job done so far. It does look better when things start taking shape. It's no good saying you are getting too old.You are too old when you need someone to help you up from bending down. was a close call...lol

Wow, that's fantastic, you have worked hard, i didn't realise that you were building the shed from scratch too . Its going to be great . Cost soon runs away doesn't it, its all the little bits that mount up . We had the freak hail storm too, enough to stop anything i think. You will be glad to get back to work for a rest . Well done. yep....custom built shed, got the chance of a 3 panel double glazed unit so thats one side almost done, hopefully get that this week somtime....

It is looking great, Steve. You have been hard at it; I know there is nothing heavier than a barrow full of stones at the end of the day. Even a load of mulch can seem to weigh a ton!

Evening all, just like to give an update of the progress so far, found a d/g window going spare and it just so happened to be a perfect fit for the side of the shed, managed to get it home and started building around it for the frame as you can see fits really well... :)next was to refit the glass and then foam it in since doing I have trimmed all the excess foam off , and stained everything up to match, fitted the rear corner in the shed ( out of shot ). Only thing left now is doing the rear wall and the roof, then start to line it out on the walls and fit the flooring.....however slight funding issue as need to pay for car insurance, and bike tax... .....summer nearly here and the harley beckons.... cheers for now and thanks for looking steve

Only just caught up with this thread, so I must apologise steve05412. What a fantastic job you are doing, have done so far. Such hard work, but it will all be worth it in the end. Like the others I am now looking forward to more updates. Easter isn't that far away. It's dreadful when funds keep restricting you from doing things as quick as you would like. But nevertheless, well worth the wait.

I agree with everybody that you are doing a great job. As long as it's only the funds stopping you, don't worry you will get some more. When you get older and are restricted through knackered (I can say that on here I hope) joints it is much more irritating. Good work.

Hmmmmmm, You are one of those with a beast in the garage. OH is greedy, he has two. Plus an old BMW R650 in bits. It is a work in progress. (double rolley eyes. ) The only thing that stops him from riding is the rain, we have no cold to speak of. Hope you get some sunshine soon.

Just a quick update, Have been dodging the rain for the last few days but am getting a lot done now.Have finished all the outside "walls" and today managed to get the roof finished with the felt on, as yet the inside seems to be all dry so happy days. Next phase is to start on the inside, will be using some 2nd hand worktops, one of them will be the full length of the shed so that will become the base of the indoor cage flight it measures 1.7m X 0.9m and will be approx 1m high. The underneath will be a 1000mm kitchen base unit. Will hopefully get some pics tomoz to share with everyone
cheers
steve ps...Hezz the beast is taxed just need some decent weather now, say hello to OH from me
