very useful info . thanks guys . i did open my boy (juju) wings today and they cut some of white area too (shows in dazandloz photo) . i don't want to breed i was just saying i hope they become mates so it is easier for me they don't need me to bring new ones and quarantine and ... lazy person what i leaned her i will not put nest in their cage even if they start to mate before 1 year old . or i will ask here first if i get tempted sure i will not let him fly much i see what you saying he already had some falls . sometimes he fall in his cage especially when they really get into preen and feed each other that is very sad .not going to lie it is pretty funny too -.- not seen any feathers yet in cage .

If you make a fuss when you put the feed in, and try and say the same things every time, then it will become repetition, and they will learn. Like any animal, the more they do the same thing the easier it is for them to remember it.

No, they get their claws caught in them, chew on them and the threads get caught in their stomachs. They are not good Aamm for budgies.

Please, no!! As suesbird has already said they are not safe. In my opinion they are one of the worst things anyone ever offered up for sale for birds. They are on a par with sand sheets; not only unnecessary, but actually detrimental to their health.

Just put the perches as low as possible to the floor as well as his food and water.

As Daz has said, just bring everything down lower, so his jump down to the floor of the cage isn't so far. Also, if you do happen to be in a pet store and see a little ladder, then I am sure he wouldn't mind you spending a little bit of your money on something he might appreciate.

Poor girl, she's moulting. Many of our budgies, regardless of where in the world they are, seem to be moulting all at the same time, this year. Regarding the t-shirt, it is more likely they were seeing it as a place to nest.

I am guessing JuJu is the darker budgie? His nail colour is due to his mutation, as is the female's. I am not sure on her mutation as we have only seen a photo of the front of her, but Juju is a either a normal cobalt or sky blue, and I would guess that his feet are grey as well, whereas I am willing to guess that your hen's feet are more pink. But the colour of the nails is generally due to the birds' mutation, and not a point of concern.

If your budgie falls to the bottom of the cage. What you can do is fold up a towel and put it under the paper at the bottom of the cage.
This is what I do for Jojo because she cannot fly.

Today I bought a Cockatiel (female). juju is in a good mood since she arrive . Very plasently talking and playing in his cage . Maybe he had good sleep last night but I never see him like this before .
