She seemed a bit better today jellybean She was tired and ready for her bed really early, but I suppose after days cooped in a cage today was her first full day out, she's tired out. So off to bed early she went, with no complaints. She's been eating her seeds, and a lot of egg food. Her poops are solid again and darker looking

Great! Once she is eating her regular diet her poops should revert to type pretty quickly. I am glad she is picking up for you; such a worrisome time when they are not well.

I've missed a lot of your posts Lemonade, so I have been reading them now. It seems that Coconut is on the mend. That really is good to hear. Long may it continue.

Coconut had a check up today at the vet. All good and happy with progress She will continue her metacam and I will just keep an eye on her. She's back next Tuesday again for another check. Not so good though is wee Paddy had to go today also. Remember he was left with a weak foot after his mystery illness this EXACT time last year? Well the pressure he has put on his good leg by not having full use of his weak leg has caused a red sore which is unfortunately the early stage of bumble foot I noticed last night he was leaning away to the side and on one foot. I scooped him up for a look and noticed the red spot straight away. I feel terrible I never noticed before but he was ok up till last night. Anyway I put savlon on, but today he got iodine solution, baytril and metacam. And he's also back next week with coconut. So that's wee Pad back to being scooped up twice a day for medicine and iodine soaks, he won't be a happy chap, so I will need to get him some millet as a sorry. I tried wrapping a soft dressing round his swing and perches that my vet had previously given me, so it would be comfier for him, but he was terrified and wouldn't go in the cage, so had to scrap that idea. Honestly if it's not one thing it's another eh.

Well done Coconut. She has done so well. Sorry about Paddy though. I hope he enjoys his 'sorry for the medicine & soaks' millet. I also thought about wrapping perches in soft stuff for Cagney's dodgy foot but thought they would think an alien being had taken over their cage. They are so suspicious, although I like to pretend they are intelligent really.

One up, one down! Honestly, these birds. They must think you don't have enough to do, lemonade. I do hope you are able to get on top of Paddy's pressure spot before it gets any worse. But that is a timely reminder to myself, that I should keep an eye on Spyro's foot for the same reason, even though he doesn't obviously favour it.
