Oh dear, what is it with all our buds getting bumble foot? Must be the time of year! So sorry that you have problems now with both Coconut and Paddy, at least Coconut is getting better lemonade. I don't know if you will be able to see but I attach a pic of Harvey with his wrapped perches. I did them with an old piece of cotton material tied on with budgie toy raffia. He does chew the odd piece of raffia but I can replace it each time. He took to the wrapped perches straight away, didn't need or even try vet dressings. Hope that helps.

That perch looks brilliant.

Interesting that Harvey didn't have a problem with the perches; is he normally open to changes, or rather wary?

How are his feet doing Shirls ? Wonderful that the budgies have their own collection of plates too. Watch they don't take them to antiques roadshow..

Usually Harvey doesn't like changes, he's quite a laid back budgie tho. He had no alternative in the small cage so had to sit on them really Hezz. Harvey is (I think, fingers crossed) very, very, very slowly getting better Marianne Marlow. He's been on the Epsom Salts bathing now for 7 days. (I found where I wrote it down - on the calendar obviously!!!!) Not sure what happened this morning on the forum, had real problems and the posts I made this morning aren't on there now. I did read about someone successfully applying Fucidin cream for bumblefoot this morning, so now I have to try and find the thread.
