This is one of my favorite flight cages Lovely setup Hezz. Thanks BB. It is a great cage, but a bit big to get an idea of how it is set up in one shot. But anyway you can get the general picture

Took me this long. This is this weeks' setup. I change it around every week: Unfortunately it is a bit hard to get a close enough photo of it. Those really big cages are fantastic. Your birds must love it in there, Hezz.

Yep, even enough room for poor Blue to take time out, when he needs it.

Mugins, that cage would be even better if you could turn it on its side, and just use layers of newspaper on the bottom, which are removed when soiled. Budgies really like using the sideways space, rather than the tall space. That's if you can.
I did the same thing with a friend's cage. Just took the plastic tray out and bunged the whole cage sideways. It also meant the bars were running horizontally, which the budgies prefer to climb, and the door opened like a drawbridge, which provided a landing platform for them when they were returning to their cage.
I did have to get new seed and water dispensers that attached to the sideways cage, however.

Ah, well. Sometimes it can be done easily. Others not.

I have checked and Hagen Vision have quite a few of them. Which one in particular you are referring too. Remember wide cages are better for budgies rather than tall cages.

Is that the piano 6 Gaile? Think I'll be saving up for one of those, it's massive! I've got that one. It's the Rekord 6. Don't think you can get it now, but I got mine from Zooplus.co.uk. It's almost identical to Piano 6. The roof just looks a little different and I think Piano 6 is more expensive for some reason.

Hi i'm a new budgie ownwer, any thoughts on the Hagen Vision Cages, Thankyou. How many budgies will you be housing? I've got the M02 (medium, double height) and it was good when I had only 2 budgies. I've got 4 now, which is too many for that cage. If you've got one or two budgies I would recommend you get one of the single height cages; either M01 (medium) or L01 (large) as budgies need length rather than height. My budgies never used the bottom of their cage, except to get food as the dishes are on the bottom. They're quite good for mess due to the design and food/water trays are easy to remove without having to reach in the door. There are two big doors together on the front, which you can open inwards, to create a platform, or outwards and attach a platform of your own.
