Hi skysmum. If she had tricho, wouldn't she be vomiting seed or something though?

Not necessarily in the very early stages. I just covered most of what it could be and there is still the option of anti b's for me but I didn't want to give it all at once and I will have to take her locally to get some fresh anti' b's as I'm out now. Does she have a bigger tummy. This is Isla's tummy from last week when I had her in for a few days

Thank you jellybeanShe's still doing most things that she would do, but they're obviously hard for her.

Poor little Isla.
JoJo has been pretty round since we got her anyway. I don't think her belly is any more round, no.
She's lost 3g in the last week, but is still 47g and she's quite smalll.

If its any help at all, the second dose of Ivermectin I put under Isla's wing on the skin, just to cover any air sac problems lower down.

Do you feel Isla has improved skysmum? Is her "voice" hoarse?

Do you feel Isla has improved skysmum? Is her "voice" hoarse? She has Marianne, he voice was hoarse and the squeak was worse when I approached her with her increased breathing. The thing with air sac mites is, if you can hear her clicking at night when she is covered up and resting its more or less a given that that's what it is. This is why I had her in for a week on her own, to listen. Air sac mites lower down can also give them a bigger tummy which is why the drop under the wing is good. I'm off to do the big weekly clean in the aviary now, I will try and get a short video of how she is now and pop it on later.

Thanks for this information. Air sac mites was what I first though. I gave her meds on tuesday on her crop.
So should I continue the next two tuesdays, but put one dot under the wing?
She does have the click at night, she's just in with Billybob, so I can hear it, and if I approach she squeaks.

What I did was, 1st treatment on the crop, second under the wing, third on the back of her neck. I will give her one more this week because she still has a slight squeaky door sound. Ive still not ruled out a Tumour in Isla's case because this is all sadly so familiar to me I'm praying for some improvement in little JoJo Marianne. This is the best I could get video wise with all the others making a racket but if you listen at the start there is still a bit of a squeak, I believe as the mites die off it takes a while to rid their system of them, and just to be sure everybud has had a dose of ivermectin, which was FUN View My Video

Whiskers sounds like that quite often. It's just his way. I think that was the sound you were referring to.
