He is REALLY loud and noisy 😁 not that we mind.
His droppings are a bit bizarre, in that they are huge and long. TMI there but it's true....maybe it's all the millet he is scoffing.

After George's stroke, he did poo less frequently, but they were bigger. Don't know why. He is REALLY loud and noisy 😁 not that we mind. His droppings are a bit bizarre, in that they are huge and long. TMI there but it's true....maybe it's all the millet he is scoffing.

I think a loud noisy budgie is a good sign. Hopefully his droppings will look normal soon. In the meantime I'm sure he's loving the extra millet!

Yes, Brodie’s poos went huge when he was poorly too. And regularly they’d come out as a long ‘sausage’ rather than a neat, round package..

Oh really Marianne? Maybe that's why John's are too then.
Yes starrymist you've described it exactly!!!

Yes. It's like either he didn't have the energy to go for a poo, so he was saving it and going less frequently or his body forgot what to do. His personality is different too, he squiggles at any budgie that comes near to him as if he's worried they'll knock him off his perch. He's worse than a hen for squiggling! Oh really Marianne? Maybe that's why John's are too then. Yes starrymist you've described it exactly!!!

I'm glad John is doing well, even if his droppings aren't quite right yet. It's nice that he's enjoying the TV

John is back inside, his leg has gone again. I am now wondering if there is something pressing on it. ☹ George is inside and the same, but I know he has testicular cancer so the tumour agents his leg. With John we weren't sure if it was a bug or a stroke. But he was so much better, well enough to be back with the others. But today he's declined, so he's back in and I've put platforms in for him to lay on. He can fly perfectly, it's just his leg and he is rather weak in general again. I really thought he'd turned a corner but obviously not.

Yes he is eating Fran which is good, but I've put 3 sprigs of millet I his cage so he couldn't resist.
Thanks everyone for the prayers, positive vibes, think we are going to need them.
