You don’t need rope perches, a branch or two angled from the floor up to another cross perch will do the same thing. I’m not a fan of those rope perches at the best of times, I think they are too soft on a bird’s feet for starters. Great if you get a problem, maybe, but more inclined to cause them, in my opinion.

My thoughts too, Hezz . If he climbs the bars but doesn't use the perches much then I'll get some ladder, or even drill holes in bits of branch and thread leather strips and wooden beads and blocks to make suspension bridges like the one the budgies like to hang out on. Thus far this morning he had helped me with the washing up and the laundry, cut the inside of my mouth with a claw when he went climbing on the sock airer, fell off and attempted to grab my face, and got all cute in the sink when I dripped water on him. He makes the occasional kiss sound and sounds like he says something like 'No' every so often. He's currently trying to play with my phone. I've told him off for threatening beal behaviour once or twice, but otherwise he's very sweet. Also had to take off my hoodie with him on it, and then was able to put it back on with him on too.

I’m sure some gentle persuasion from you will sort that out soon enough.

I've asked the breeder what she's been doing so that it's consistent. Apparently Yellow is also being a bit of a grump. Plus our little guy doesn't seem to be sleeping well at the moment.

Aww, poor little fella might just be adapting to the changes. Hopefully the chewing will stop soon. Any thoughts on names yet?

Hopefully. Some of it might be because he doesn't know us properly yet, even though he's looking to interact.
Not really. Every so often one of us says a name, but so far nothing really sticks.

He's a little cutie. I hope the biting phase doesn't last long and that he starts sleeping better. You could call him Graham as in Graham Greene author of Brigthon Rock. I've not named a green pet so I've never really thought about it. I do like Marianne Marlow suggestion of Moss. Many of our pets have been named after people or characters which we like.

Got a new hole in my hand right next to the one his brother gave me. Ouch! Maybe he wanted to make his mark too and claim possession…? He sounds like a playful nippy puppy!

He is probably missing his brother and everything familiar to him. He has yet to realise that you mean him no harm.
