No Marianne he hasn’t. He still isn’t making a sound and he is sleeping a lot too. I have just given him his Metacam and Baytril And hoping he will improve again. He is eating , so that is still encouraging, but he has diarrhoea ,but that could be the antibiotics causing that. Poor little man 😢

Oh Charlie, I hope you'll say something cheeky to mum and perk up a bit today.

diarrhoea prob is the antibiotics. Are there things that counteract?

Charlie is really worrying me this morning, he is just sleeping with his head under his wing, I haven’t seen him eat at all. This is the worst I have seen him. All I can do is keep him warm., and hope he picks up….but not looking good 😢😢

Has he drank anything? Will he drink if you hold the water to him?

I'm hoping the best for you both, ladybird and Charlie.

I will try when he wakes up…don’t want to disturb him while he just sleeps….. Yesterday all he seemed to want to eat was red millet, so I just let him. Bad idea?

Let him eat what he will eat, I believe is the best advice.

I wonder if he's having trouble digesting the food, it's something that seems consistent with the info on bornavirus. When he wakes can you give him some boiled mashed egg?

Could always give him a choice and see what he wants.
I guess it will affect his droppings as it's soft, shouldn't be an issue as long as he stays hydrated.

Thanks Marianne I have just put an egg on for him. Yesterday he was pecking at his iodine block a lot, something I have never seen him touch before. He was making a cracking noise a lot too, just like he did when he started being Ill way back in April. Bad day for me today, my Son and daughter in law and granddaughter, are flying to Dubai to live. He is a pilot and will be flying for Emerites, so naturally I am in bits Good for them but bad for me 😢. What with that and Charlie…you can imagine 😟. The Metacam doesn’t seem to be helping Charlie, but I will continue with it though. sorry for moaning

I can imagine it must be hard to see them to go. Will they come back to visit? I suppose you can Skype with them.
I hope Charlie will liven up a bit soon and feel better.
That's okay, you're not moaning, it's understandable that you are worried.
