I try not not talk about my dreams as people talking about their dreams are usually considered boring but I just cannot shake the one I had a few nights ago. It was an epic in the truest sense but I will restrict myself to the highlights.
It appeared that I had moved to Australia, taking the entire Flock with me. I was staying with someone, a local celebrity or dignitary at their somewhat palatial home with its tremendous grounds. I went to check on my birbs and it appeared that my host had placed them in a very large (and beautifully designed) outdoor aviary. I was pleased but concerned over how I was going to return the birbs to their travel cages in readiness for the half-day drive to our new home. My host's own budgies were kept in a similar aviary maybe thirty metres away. There was some sort of garden party going on, which I quite enjoyed but I wanted to check on my Flock - and found some of my budgies had somehow moved to the resident birbs' aviary and some of the resident birbs were in with my Flock, which made me unhappy. The party went on into the evening and one of the guests, Tom Cruise, was being roasted by someone making a speech, which made Cruise laugh. Throughout the evening I repeated some of the roasts, which made the action star laugh in a ridiculous high-pitched giggle (like Tucker Carson's laugh, if you know it). Cruise and I became friends. In the morning, my birbs were loaded, still in the large aviary, into the back of an articulated lorry and we set off.
Where on Earth do dreams come from?

That's an amazing dream. Thanks for sharing it.
The last dream I remember is about squabbling budgies, so I know exactly where that one came from. Dean Stockwell was one of the budgies which was a surprise.

loz I think your dream is just the brain processing the reality of day to day budgie logistics with quite so many budgies to look after π€£ I had a dream last night about genetically engineered spiders escaping from a lab. They viciously attacked and ate people π―. All very bizarre!

Sounds like you need a good holiday Loz and are trying to work out how you can take the crew with you π.
Weirdly I had a horrible dream the other night, i was being chased by some hideous thing that meant harm, kids stuff right, Iβve never had a dream like this even as a kid. I was hiding in a train carriage, the woods and some big house where others were hiding π€¦π»ββοΈ I have a book on the meaning of dreams and this apparently means Iβm trying to run away from a situation, person or problem in real life, OHβs face was a picture when I told him the theory and the more I thought about it it would seem he covered all three ππ

βAfter a couple hours of solid labour, the junk room is once again the spare bedroom (although there's no bed in there!) Some finishing touches and it will be ready to accommodate whomever might require it. I have a sneaking suspicion that someone might

a new recruit? Oh dear!! Fingers crossed, no! In terms of ticking boxes, this potential recruit ticks every single one of them! * * If the boxes refer to reasons why I shouldn't take it on.
