Yes. My gorgeous little trio đĨ°. My phone keeps popping up with baby Finlay photos for two years ago. She was a very very beautiful fluffy little budgie.

Toby has not had a good day today âšī¸. He's vomited lots of seed. It's annoying as I've not seen him vomit for days. He's moulting lots of big feathers at the moment too. Tail and wing. I'm really hoping the sprouts help.

I'm sorry for that news, Blueelephant. I wonder if the miserable moult has directly contributed. Seems likely.

Poor little Toby, I feel for both of you. He may or many not eat the sprouts right away. Just keep putting them out for him to eat everyday until he starts. Got my fingers crossed that he'l dive right in.

tweetiepiesmom so these were soaked overnight, sat-sun. They have been washed morning and evening since. So this is essentially 36 hours since the came out of the soaking and it's now Monday evening. How do they look to you? If I wash twice tomorrow, then can I wash and feed them the first lot Wednesday morning? Box up the rest and put them in the fridge?

They look great! Give them another 24 hours and then start feeding them to Toby. I find mine sprout faster in the spring/summer than in the fall. My guys started by eating the rice and then the sprout tails and then ate the whole sprout. Except the lentils - they only eat those sprout tails,

Well we've tried them straight away but are both behaving like a pair of budgies looking expectantly for where the 'real breakfast is đ Will give them time...

I've added a sprinkling of grated carrot. This has made them go back for me. The odd sprout is being nibbled...

Nice manoeuvre, Blueelephant.
Kidology can also work with budgies. Try telling them that the absolutely *must not* touch the sprouties.

Oh yes. I've also tried 'nom nom jom' noises and open mouth right by the plate pretending to eat them myself to reasonable effect.

Great start especially that they've tried them! It won't be long before they start yelling at you to bring them sprouts!

tweetiepiesmom I hope so! I just took a new fresh plate in for the afternoon. I'd removed the first one after a couple of hours. They are both tucking in đ
