Thank you. She's going to be off school again today. She was up half the night coughing and is still asleep, so we thought we would let her rest. I hope it does ease soon for both of you.. it is horrible to feel so unwell and have Eve unwell too..

Hopefully another quiet day will help her recover and hoping you'll soon (very soon) get the treatment you need. I know how frustrating it can all be.

Those first couple of years mixing with the masses really do give the immune system a work out. Being a good girl and sharing her germs shouldn’t be allowed, though.

In her first few years of life her immune system didn't get a work out cos of the lockdowns. So when she went to nursery she was hit with every thing at once (as were all the other kids her age) so she's getting more illnesses one after another than anyone would normally. Those first couple of years mixing with the masses really do give the immune system a work out. Being a good girl and sharing her germs shouldn’t be allowed, though.

Oh wow, sometimes it feels even longer. But it’s messed up so many kids’ educations too amongst other things

It was actually the first couple of years at school or kindy that I was referring to.

Assuming I can stay well until then, I have my EP Study and heart ablation on Friday 12th May.
I've had all the pre-screening tests yet again, and have the bruises on my arms to prove it!

Very best if luck! I'm told ablation has a good record in addressing AF and if that's what you have, Marianne, I do hope it's life-changing in a very good way.

Glad you’ve got your date through Marianne Marlow. Is it an overnight stay or day surgery? I will be thinking of you and really hope it will make a decent improvement to your condition and daily life.

I have been told to pack an overnight bag "just in case" but the plan is that I go home the same day. The Procedure is 2 hours, then 4-6 hours rest. I will be awake, the thought of which is terrifying me, with a conscious sedation. Last couple of times I had conscious sedation I didn't feel like it had any effect, other than that my oxygen sats are low for a while afterwards. Seeing as I'll have to lay flat for several hours after and not move, I am expecting the obs machine to be constantly beeping due to low blood pressure and oxygen levels. Glad you’ve got your date through Marianne Marlow. Is it an overnight stay or day surgery? I hope it goes ahead and it helps a lot
It is scary. Could you listen to music or anything once done and you have to lie flat
