Thank you for that jellybean, I'll watch it later. I actually saw a nutritionist many years ago that recommended juicing to me and I did do it for about 6 months. But it was v expensive, especially as she said to just use organic fruit and veg. I have actually lost 3st 3 in the last year due to calorie counting. But I just have so many health issues it's crazy. I've resigned myself to never feeling well.

Please don't do that Marianne, all the people on the documentary you are about to watch had resigned themselves to that fact too......Their lives were changed forever.
As long as the stuff you buy is thoroughly washed I don't see any problem in not buying organic.
I'll be interested to hear what you think when you get round to watching the documentary.
I just received a book in the post this morning from Amazon by another guy I like "Jay Kordich" I can't wait to start it.

It all sounds very interesting. I'll watch it later on today and report back.
Wouldn't you be hungry, juicing for 30 days though?
I take it you cannot have any food.
I'll miss coffee too as I can't get through a day without it I am just so tired. I have given it up for months before and it does not increase my energy and I sleep just as badly.

I think that's the first misconception about juicing, just because you don't EAT people imagine you must be starving. But the feeling of hunger soon subsides.
I don't know if I could do 30 days, I'd love to, or longer.
Your body is being nourished in a completely different way. I know what to expect the first 3/4 days, with the lethargy, the headaches and upset stomach, but I also know this passes, it is the body ridding itself of all the bad stuff

I just watched the documentary. It's amazing what juicing did for all the people involved. I wonder how they are now. Shame there was no follow up. How long will you juice for jellybean?

Initially I don't know how long I'll go on the juice feasting alone, but, I'm determined to stuck at it as long as possible.
Even at the end of this, I am still hoping to incorporate 2 juices a day and a healthier meal at might into my daily routine.
I can't wait to get started, only reason I'm waiting until early March is OH has a few appointments and I have my ENT appointment, and my Niece is coming for a few days to stay.
When I start it, I want a clean slate with no interruptions in order that I can keep to a regular routine of juicing.
I'm glad you liked the documentary Marianne, the power of juicing, to me, speaks for itself.

Yes, it is definitely a good thing to cut down/eliminate processed food and get more fruit and veg in the diet.
I was most pleased for the man with the suitcase of medication, he seemed to be very badly off at the start. I wanted to see his progress the most.

Do you think Eve would enjoy them Marianne, you've mentioned she's a picky eater, might just help with all the little upsets she's been having.

no, my hearing is fine - it is tinnitus that causes the white noise - I did have inner ear infection way way back, and it took a while to hear properly.. I think you need to go back to your gp or phone until they refer you, should it not ease up. anything ear infection tbh can take a while.. or go to a pharmacist, they can look in your ear maybe, but if not, it might be there is wax as the infection might have produced it. Thanks ffiscool Why do you have white noise? did you also have an ear infection. 10 years is a very long time, that is awful - is it permanent? I'm so scared that my hearing is gone in that ear now. I keep crying That’s horrible and really poor treatment. Sadly my local hospital the same or worse I hope your hearing starts to improve, the water should start to disperse soon, hopefully Try rubbing gently your neck, under that ear White noise, it’s horrible - had it about 10 years now.

I've had so many people look in my ear already and they've just said I have a middle ear infection. The ENT at a&e also looked in my ear and said I have water behind my ear.
I woke up this morning with a horrendous migraine, my second within 4 weeks. Been in bed until 4pm. Vomited numerous times and only just eaten something - a strawberry nutrigrain bar and half an alpro cherry yoghurt.
Going to take some co-codomol, put my shades on and wait for this hell to end.

You're having a terrible time at the minute Marianne, I'm so sorry.
I hope you feel better as the night wears on, I've never had or suffered from migraines, they sound horrendous.

I know people have issues that are a lot worse, like cancer but it's been so draining. Luckily Paul got the budgies up for me and has looked after Eve. Ironically we were meant to go to mass this morning and I was going to take part in the "anointing of the sick" but I was too sick to go. You're having a terrible time at the minute Marianne, I'm so sorry. I hope you feel better as the night wears on, I've never had or suffered from migraines, they sound horrendous.
