Wow, Coco seems happy as a sandboy now, standing on one foot in the previous Vid, always and excellent sign of health and happiness, and now actually chatting to you! Exiting cage for wider horizons does not seem too far away now, Loz.

Dear oldbuddyOf course I stand on one leg. As long as things are being done properly. I'm not saying the human is running things properly - ha! - but he'd doing better than he was. Perhaps he isn't untrainable after all. I will persevere with him for now.

Well done on telling him to shut up. You are so much louder than he is too - you win!

Dear Diary The human looked foolishly pleased with himself when he spotted me gnawing on the Pink Gnawable Block. This made me suspicious so I quickly left it. Maybe when he's not around ... More odd behaviour from the human, yesterday. He started shrugging his shoulders, shaking his arms and - can you believe it - whistling. His accent is so atrocious that I couldn't understand a single thing he said. I think my incredulity and incomprehension are clear in the pic. Today the human received some training. He was shown how to shake his wings out and how to whistle properly. It seemed to go very well and we had quite a two-way conversation. I almost forgot what it was I was actually conversing with! The human disappeared out the door some time after this. I tried calling him back but it was a long time before he did. Just when you think they might be trainable, they show their woeful limitations. I will persevere.

Dear Diary Sometimes I think maybe the human isn't so bad. I may have to come up with a name for him. Today I did something a little different. When the human's back was turned, I stood on the perch next to the food/water station and flapped my wings vigorously. The expression on the human's face! Haha! Anyway, he looked like he needed calming down so I gave myself a pedicure. We just now had another nice chat but his accent again ... diabolical.

The cheeky human - sorry, I mean Daddeh - tried his luck with a "millet bribe". They aren't at all bad, you know! 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_VO9UFpTX9Zl9igAQ?e=fwW3fnThings had been going very well but it got a bit disruptive when Daddeh decided to cover up the full length mirrors in the room. I'd barely bumped it but he is such a drama queen. However, I do draw the line at sneezing. I nearly jumped out of my feathers and I still don't know how I landed on the computer. Daddeh wanted to sit at the computer so I made way for him. I'd had my eye on the ceiling ladder as up there, I can keep an eye on the blasted seagulls and show them who is boss. 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_VYescJI-vg3femcQ?e=fpSrbO1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh_VZS5vl6qMQXNZ7YA?e=9ycMIoRight, that's it for now. I am watching the garden for intruders from my ladder perch. I look forward to Daddeh's plan for getting me back in that cage. Good luck, Daddeh.
