You forgot "if you're happy and you know it, feed your ball" ........... ;D He took a while, but he really is one of the family now.

Ahahah XD Currently it's "If you're happy and you know it, mate with your ball", the wings are curving around and everything. Always makes me laugh when he does that because he gets so flustered and is wobbling back and forth, and then loses his balance and goes tumbling XD One time he actually rolled over ;D ;D ;D
Yesterday, however, it was "If you're happy and you know it, poop in mummy's bath water and then drink some of said water" which really doesn't go with the song, but yeah... Bath didn't last much longer after that, mainly because the water had had bath salts in it and I was determiined to get Munchy drinking clean water. He only had two mouthfuls and there was a lot of water, so everything was really diluted, but he's as perky as ever today so I think I got lucky. No more baths salts when he's around, that's for sure!

Oh, yes. Bluey used to do that with my big toe! Smooch the toenail, and wrap his wing around my foot - felt so soft and quite lovely, but once I twigged to what he was really up to, I thought I should not encourage said behavior! As for the water, I was watching a couple of native birds while waiting for my hubbie the other day, drinking out of this horribly dirty, toxic puddle on the side of the street. This was out the front of a panel-beaters cum mechanics - I had to think what sort or horrors were in that water, and thought how precious we are with the water we supply to our little darlings.

Yeah, it's quite cute but then not necessarily the best idea to just let it happen :/ It's worse with dogs, of course, but my sister used to let her dog do that, because she said she felt loved when he sucked her arm, but with dogs it's a dominance thing so... :/
They are so soft, though! When holding one of Munchy's balls in a funny way so that he has to lean down to talk to his favourite part, he will stick his head between my thumb and forefinger and the feathers of his head feel so nice!
Very true ^^ Needless to say, he's whistling to get out of his cage. He had a nibble of breakfast but when I moved he abandoned it and wanted out so I'm going to have to feed him now... Slow progress but it'll be nice to do for once, I'm sure. Better go, his lordship is calling ;D

I don't understand it either... I'm sorry for scaring you. Now, seeing as everyone is probably sick of my random threads where I natter on about Munchy, having stored up stories due to how little I'm here, I decided to post in this one again XD This past week, Munchy has decided his new favourite ball is the blue and orange one. There were actually two, only one of them got stepped on by granddad a few hours after we found the second yellow and green one which went missing back along. So we only have 4 balls now. The blue and orange one has been named 'Kevin' by Munchy when he was chittering to it and said something that sounded like Kevin. He bit granddad yesterday when on the computer keyboard and drew blood. He got a thorough scolding but I doubt he'll stop with the occasional nippiness. He's territorial in his cage, after all, and bit granddad again this morning when granddad was trying to put in the fresh seed. Such a naughty boy. Anyway, he seems to have had a complete change of personality in regards to where he goes. He's been flying out into the kitchen a lot, which is not great because, aside from hygiene, we have no door between the snug (where his cage is) and the kitchen, so if we open the back door... If he keeps doing it we might have to put up one of those bead curtain things XD But he's been flying in and out of every room, probably looking for Kevin. I was away on Saturday and my grandparents could not get him to stay in the living room. They ended up having to shut all the doors and just leave the ones between the living room and the snug open because they were worried about him falling down behind some of the furniture. He caused chaos. But then yesterday, nan commented that he seemed to have calmed down now that I was home. Maybe he missed me after all He has started flying over to land on me when I go to leave a room as if he wants to come too, sometimes even when he has been playing with one of his favourite balls Also, my grandparents bought some electric weighing scales today, so I christened them by weighing Munchy. He's 43g, which from what I can see seems about right for a bird of his size. He's big but he's definitely not exhibition standard, more wild/pet-type but definitely not runty. Thus ends my boring update

Nice to know Munchy is still stirring things in the house. Preventing you all from getting bored, he's mixing it up for you!

Go Munchy. They can be sooooo naughty. The more adventurous and inquisitive they are, the naughtier they seem to be.
