Nooooo! Don't encourage him Stace! ;D He's naughty enough already! ;D ;D ;D
Sam, I think he's actually a hen masquerading as a cock. Despite what his cere tells me, his vocality, and the fact that he's still regurgitating seed even whilst out of breeding condition, he's definitely more interested in men than women and he bites like the devil! ;D ;D ;D

Barrie sys she is a she but trying to be a he! At any rate she/he is lovely and can't give a decent bite even when I catch her up and poke about checking her out!

Hehehe! That's funny Could be, though! He's such a pain sometimes, though. I wish that one of the feeders that attach to the cage from the outside hadn't been broken, because this morning Munchy was facing where I have to put the food and water into the cage, because he's started sleeping nearby, and he lunged at me. He was too far away to bite me but it made me jump and I ended up spilling seed everywhere! He's so darned territorial Misty sounds really cute though

Oh dear, the seed-spill! You will be finding them for days, if anything like us!

How is it they manage to get everywhere? I even found a bit of trill in the bed the other day?!!!

Hahaha! Yeah, his stuff gets absolutely everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised to find it in the bed because his cage is on top of the trunk-thing that we keep all the sheets in... He was lunging again this morning, despite me being nowhere near him. I think it's because he's half asleep, because when we woke him up by uncovering two sides of the cage and putting on the lights in the adjacent rooms he didn't bother my granddad at all. I went to the market yesterday to ask about feeders that go into those little door-flap things and explained about the biting. The nice old man who runs the pet shop jokingly asked me if I was sure I had a budgie and not a rottweiler in disguise Sadly he didn't have any but I managed to buy a pair online, so now I won't have to disturb Munchy really early in the morning when I have uni at 9. And it means that later in the morning on non-uni days he can't escape to run off and play before I've put his bowls in. He is so crazy about getting out of his cage that he just skips breakfast On a random note, we have a Maneki Neko in the hall, one of the ones that waves when you put a battery in it. Yesterday, Munchy left the living room and my grandparents found him standing in front of it and chattering to it Bless, he's so silly! Also, he comes over to us more now, but it's only really when he wants either of his favourite cat balls. So if he can't see them he'll jump onto your head when you want to leave the room so that he can go and find them. Or he'll fly onto my head and whistle really loudly. Remember all those times I wanted more attention from him? I really understand the meaning of the phrase "Be careful what you wish for" now... I might wander back over to the market today and perhaps buy some more cat balls and maybe one of those budgies that you put on a perch of the cage... I'll see what my friend Elinor wants to do in our break.

Maneki Neko - had to go google that one, Ira. I had no idea what they were called. Is it pronounced as it looks? I can just see a budgie giving one a right old telling off! If you get tired of calling him Munchy, I guess you could change his name to Rottie ........

My budgie, Misty, couldn't talk, but there was this one time when me and my sister were talking, and my sister turned to the cage and said "Isn't that right, Misty?" and Misty bobbed her head right away. It looked like she was agreeing with her lol.
