That's great. I thought it sounded like a feather issue. Funny that this happens to some buds when they moult. I wonder if it's more with those with show-type genes. It wouldn't be a good thing in the wild. Will have to ask sarah if he has any show genes-would be intresting to know

Remember, tons of eggfood, or hardboiled egg, if he will eat it.

Thank god Meeko is okay Moogs (apologies) as I have just come across this thread! Gotta say that I swear sometimes buds have a bad moult once in a while and it does make them feel very insecure and lack in energy. Murph is my biggest bird and he is the same sometimes when he has a moult. As previously mentioned egg is great and a tip if they wont eat it on its own get some food they do like and roll it in the egg so it sticks to it. Then hopefully the should get some in their system. I use sweetcorn

Today Meeko seems to have a whole lot more energy all though still not allowed out of his cage but he does not seem to mind as he has his bell which he is in total love with

That's a good thing, Moogs. Hope he keeps progressing in leaps and bounds. Does Elfie come for visits?
