Aw. Poor little guy. It does look like a "mother plucker" incident. I'm sure Bobby will grow up to be a beautiful, special birdie.

And remember a good tip I was given is when trying foods with Bobby to show just a small piece as a big bit can look rather overwhelming!

Awww, Bobby is lovely - hope his feathers all grow back. Can only echo what everyone else has said. Time and patience and then some more time. He will get there in the end, don't despair. It can take months for them to feel completely at ease.

I bet Munchy gave it a good go though! Imagine one budgie trying to get through a whole corn cob!

Thanks. I will. Its seems his feathers on the right side are starting to grow back but not as noticable on his left. Hus neck is also bare but could be showing signs of regrowth. My concern at the moment is that mine and bobbies relationship seems to be not a strong. He will sit on my finger in the cage but wont come out. He also moves away from me more than usual at the moment. What are some good foods I can bribe him with to make him love me again? Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk Some abused chicks take a lot of time to return to normal behavior. Just be patient.
