I have phoned the vet and asked for a callback. They don't have an evening surgery today. Tomorrow is difficult for me. I also cannot afford another round of vet bills... I hope the vet calls back soon. Would they let you pay a bit at a time?

Thanks, guys - appreciate your support as always.
Well, Berry seems okay. There hasn't been any more apparent vomiting and he is jumping around, chirping and pinging as usual.
He has just had his tea (germinated seeds) along with the others, and eaten some pellets too. He had a drink whilst I was there. He has also produced at least 3 normal looking droppings in the last hour so food is getting through.
I am hoping this is just a one-off. Having read the last link SQ provided it is possible that he vomited after falling as he falls quite frequently. Was it Bailey who did this a while back? Might have been someone else.
I don't think I'm going to get a call from vet this evening, so I will just have to see how he is in the morning.

Maybe thats what happened with Berry, and he needed to rearrange his crop after a hard fall? I do hope Berry is okay, little fella. Best to get him checked out for peace of mind. I know the bills are a killer and I found the vet school quite expensive, but at least you know he will get a thorough check over and hopefully it will be all good.

My first reaction was that someone had pooped on him. Is this a possibility? Especially if he isn't showing signs of being ill? The only time any of my budgies has vomited it was mostly recognisable seed, so I can't help there.

Thanks again, folks, for all your good wishes re my little Berry Boy.
I am relieved to report that this morning all seems well. There has been no visible recurrence of the ?vomiting and he is bright as a chatty little button just now, flirting with Woody after a smooch with Luee.
I have to be out all day so I just hope things are still ok when I get home.

Here's hoping that is the case and it is nothing serious, best wishes to wee Berry x

Been catching up today and ive just noticed this birdguhl,so glad little Blueberry is looking ok now. Just to say ive had similar over the years, Berry and Luee have been very close and feeding each other (among other things and i think its possibly where Luee has been feeding him. Ive seen it with mine, when one feeds the other some regurgitated food is slobbered over the one being fed when he, Luee, moves away in mid feed, if you know what i mean . So the chances are, its from Luee .

The color of it looks exactly like ground seeds mixed with water. I give it to chicks sometimes, so I know the color.
