Who's a clever girl then? I have taken a couple of photos on my mobile phone. As soon as I can I will transfer them to the laptop and a photo-housing on-line thingie then put the latest baby pics on here. Two different shades of green I think.
Just as well it's not shades of grey!!

So finally I have found time to upload a photo... Had to wait until 4am to do it though.... (my mother is snoozing!) Here we go... rapidly changing out-fits... the latest snaps of Fluffy Grey's and Charlie's little nippers:

Wow, they have changed so much! Looking very healthy . Will show my daughter when she wakes up. She thinks that the babies turn out the way she mixes her paints! She will be surprised that yours are both the same colour with different coloured parents!

They are just adorable. Are you going to keep them Learner? That would be the problem if I bred budgies, I wouldn't want to part with any of them, lol.

I am delighted with the twins.... surprised due to lack of knowledge by their colours (but it makes sense now)... And will definitely be keeping them

After seeing so many clutches with sooo many different variables when it come to combinations of colours, I too have to admit to being surprised at the "twins". How do you tell them apart??? but so cute, so terribly innocent and cute!

Names already? First we have to wait to see if they are hen or cock birds. Hens would be good but happy with either Tell them apart? Not too hard as they are different greens. I will take more photos and show when I can.

I'm not sure when they will be leaving home but I need to encourage my mother to eat more ice-cream as the 4litre tub isn't quite empty. I thought it would make a good refuge in the bottom of the cage for the babies although Charlie seems pretty devoted as well as their mother. Today Charlie was in the nest-box with Fluffy Grey and the chicks. I opened the door gently to find him sitting in the middle of the two chicks preening one's head.

Aw, yes, I see; they are different greens. I missed that to start with. Just keep an eye on your parent birds, won't you? You don't want either of them to get aggressive with the chicks.
