Well it's up, few things to sort out, only comes with dowel perches and they span the length so we will be replacing those, also it has a grill which I have taken out but when you remove the tray there is no bottom underneath which is a bit strange, it's bigger than we thought and fills our dining room! We have had to move some furniture round. Ha ha. Here is my hubby modelling, (he put it together). We will get used to it though, also the food pots are huge so may not use those either, at the moment pickle is scared stiff of it but I have attached some toys to it and I intend to just let him get used to it for a while and hopefully play with it. It's a gorgeous cage and really big. It seems enormous at the minute. Got to try and find paper big enough for the bottom!!! Has anyone else got one of these, what do you do/arrange things?

It looks great, I see that Pickle is eyeing it with suspicion! I think that sweetpea might have one?

No, I don't have that one, though have often considered it as it has a lot of good features. I recently rejected it because of the size of the door - not big enough for me to get in & chase Bezukhov around for his every-other-morning medication. Love the photo... I can imagine Pickle saying "You go in first & I'll follow".

Bless Pickle staying safe on daddy bird's shoulder! Karen at naturalbirdco sells paper in a roll I think which might be big enough. I'll see if I'm right and find a link although I don't know the decisions of the cage bottom you have. Hope Pickle enjoys his palace when he moves in. Xx

The main reason I picked this cage was because the bars are horizontal and Pickle lives to climb. JennyB Thanks but I have no problems getting paper, I work at a printers he he. The small issue I have is that I hate grilles, Pickle has always eaten from dishes on the floor of his cage, he likes to play in the bottom too, if I take the grill out there is a tray that rolls out to clean etc which I would normally put paper in but when the tray is removed without the grille in place there is a big hole at the bottom as there is no bottom under the tray, any ideas? Getting there Pickle!
