The best way to lose weight is to change the way you eat in general and add in regular achievable exercise, and NOT to go on a diet. I'm a firm believer that dieting makes you gain weight and stay that way.

Gold hotpants! I can see them now. Wasn't Kylie called the singing budgie there for a while?
By the way, you are 1/5th of the way to your goal. That's not bad going.

I've got loads of resolutions at the moment, not all new year ones 1) Exercise, prescribed by my physiotherapist, strength and cardio - 7 weeks done fo going to the gym every other day! 2) Stand/Sit up straight, I'm months into this but only over the last month have I actually got the strength in my back to maintain a good posture all day. 3) 1 cup or less of coffee per day - 2 weeks into this 4) Drink less alcohol- this was a near years resolution - I did 3 weeks straight, probably longest since I was 18 hehe 5) Dont bite the edge of my fingers, I'm months into this but its up and down. My main motivation for this is ugly looking fingers and seeing people about my hand problems make it impossible to hide 6) Drink more water! I used to be really bad at this, I'd find myself really thirsty right before bed, drink a couple of glasses then have to get up twice (!) in the night Pretty much all linked to my poorly hands or stomach

I don't drink much due to being on steroids and loads of other meds so I don't have to cut down on that one. Should drink less coffee though... Drinking Green tea at the moment but it's just not the same!! (have had two large coffees already today though..) Used to bite my nails when I was a kid, come on Matt, kick that one into touch it's unsanitary and nasty looking!! (just trying to help!)
