The amount of A.B.'s in the egg is really quite minimal and obviously does no harm to the chooks at all. Some owners I have found do eat the eggs regardless of giving antibiotics, but do not sell them or give them away, just in case someone has an allergic reaction. I just choose not to eat them myself and it is recommended not to eat them anyway!! The other girlies are working well so we're not really too short of eggies for breakfast!

Hazel looks absolutely fit as a fiddle, red comb and wattles and she is laying well too. You would never know anything had been or is wrong. Just she breathes a little deeply, moreso than the other chooks. I'm sure she will be fine. Thank you samwiseg.

I am glad that Hazel is doing so well. And hope she stays that way.
