They are sweetpea. They have recently started charging postal fees for smaller orders so I order 2 bags at a time as its still £1.99 for standard delivery. One of my dogs is on propalin medication so it's cheaper for me to pay the vet for a prescription and order from Animed. I got a prescription last Tuesday afternoon, ordered the medication in the evening and paid for express delivery at £3.45. It was here Thursday morning. Animed provides a really good service. BTW I noticed today that Animed sells the milk thistle powder that Squawk is on.

He's a real fighter for sure and as long as he fights I'll be standing at his side fighting with him. I'd never heard of this L Carnitine either. It's actually for humans. I mix a little bit each day with the milk thistle and sprinkle it on his food. Poor Chirpys on it too now by default. Still won't do him any harm, I did check first 😄

It's great news that Squawk is feeling better and he's back with Chirpy

Thanks for mentioning Animed. One of my rabbits is on long term metacam for arthritis and it's 5 times cheaper on Animed. I'll have to find out how much my vet will charge me for writing the prescription. How much does your vet charge Jane?

JaneI've uploaded your video to my youtube, hope that is okay? Squawk is looking great! Some of my budgies shouted when they heard him. Polly seemed interested!

Hi guys, New here, so I apologise for replying on this thread, I figured it would be better to ask here than to start another (Correct me otherwise though ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ) So our budgie Tino is looking a bit under the weather, sleeping a lot and quiet, I believe that it's liver issues ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) . I'm looking into buying him Harrisons food (not sure which type yet - any recommendations would be good!) and I'm attempting to buy the milk thistle stuff but I'm confused regarding the mg, I've seen 500mg, 900mg and 2000mg. Does it mater which one I buy, I'm assuming that the higher the mg the lower the dose? Sorry again for posting here! Thanks guys! To answer your question about Milk Thistle: I have a 900mg bottle (which holds 30mls). It is also alcohol free which you must make sure you get. The dosage is on the bottle. At the moment I put two drops in 50ml water, twice a week. Both my budgies have it, but only one has the liver problem (I think!!). Your question woud be noticed more if entered under the 'Budgie Health' heading. But don't worry, we were all new when we started!!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I get the lifetime super fine pellets too but they seem to be out of stock in a lot of places right now. I had to get my last lot from ebay. Hi sweetpea, for the first time in two years Animed was out of pellets last week. I thought I'd let you know that I ordered a bag from Pets at Home. Bit more expensive at £8.99 a bag but it's free delivery to the store of choice so ends up much the same price as Animed for one bag. I ordered on Thursday night and collected it today so I'm very happy with the service. I think I'll do the same with my dogs food in future as there's more flavours if I order online than there is in the shop.

Glad you found them at Pets at Home. Very kind of you to let me know - I will keep them in mind when I need the next bag.
