Thank you tweetiepiesmom and suesbirdI really like the bunny too. There are so many bunny patterns but that one was the cutest I've seen so far.

Thanks all blueelephant it's from a Clare Comerford pattern called Daffodil Delight in an old copy of the World of Cross Stitching magazine, issue 240 (I think it's a few years old but I can't see a date on it), which was kindly passed on to me. I've had a look online but the only copy I can find is someone selling the pages from the magazine on ebay (pic below is from her advert). As you can see the little blue tit is just in the corner of the picture but I was looking for birds for the good luck card and he stood out. As usual I had none of the 'correct' colours so I just used the closest I had. If you would like I can try to take a clear photo of the blue tit part of the pattern and the colour chart for you? willowsmum Sorry for the delay in replying! I've been on holiday. That would be ever so kind if you could? I will pm you my email address. It's just such a cute little pattern. The bird is definitely the star of the picture.

Those are great criswell, I love the cute Cthulhu, I don't think he'll be terrorising anyone!

Thanks Marianne Marlow. Everyone is definitely safe around this cthulu. There are quite a lot of Cthulhu patterns available, and the next one I make might not be quite so cute.

The big thing over here right now is knitting little gnomes. I looked at doing them but wondered if they might be too difficult for me. As I read the review it said you needed to use the 'magic loop' method which I've never done. I've also never knitted something that small before.

I'm sure you could knit one tweetiepiesmom. You should give it a try. Or you could try to crochet one. That might be easier than knitting one.

have a look on youtube for magic loop, really easy. Or do Like I do, crochet 6 chain and join then crochet into the ring, you can sew it together at the end if you have too big a hole. Have a look at mufficorn on Etsy or instagram, she is from the Ukraine and does fab crochet gnome patterns and they are not hard and are a good size.

I’m loving your new crochet characters criswell. How long does it take to make each one on average?

Thanks ariella. I've not made any of them in one go so it's hard to tell exactly how long but probably about 2 to 3 hours for for one of the regular size Star Wars ones, maybe a bit longer. I keep thinking that I will keep a record of the time I spend but I've usually got halfway through before I remember to record the time.
