criswell it actually tool about a month, knitting 3-4 hours a day. Way too much time just sitting and so bad on my health at my age/physical condition. I won't do that again!

Love everyone’s skills, I couldn’t do it a) lack of patience b) my neck wouldn’t like it.

Halloween is just finished. My fingers were busy and I knit a neck scarf for a male friend. Fortunately it was finished before Halloween and the weather has turned cool so he could wear it.

That’s so clever tweetiepiesmom. I love how you’ve knitted the skulls in.

ariella I can't take full credit for it, I was following a pattern. The eyeball hole was a bit tricky but the designer had posted a You Tube video. Once I watched it, the knitting was so much easier.

That's amazing tweetiepiesmom. It's so helpful when there are videos of tricky parts of patterns. I would have been so stuck on some if my projects without a video.

Still a very clever scarf to knit. Where would we be without tutorial videos to help us along sometimes?

I took a break from crochet over the summer as it was too hot but got back to it in the autumn and made myself a little pumpkin for Halloween. I made a few Christmas presents - these little ducks for my mum. And World War I flying ace Snoopy for my partner David. I also crocheted him a tie from a book his nan gave me many years ago. She also gave me the wool too. She would be pleased that I've learned to crochet. She was more of a knitter but she did a bit of crochet too. I took another break as I was decorating the study and then needed something little to get me started again so I made this. The peas aren't attached to the pod so can come out to be played with. Then I made this bunny for David for Valentines Day. It may be the cutest thing I've made so far. Next I made an alapaca for my mother in law's birthday but I forgot to take a photo as I only get it finished just before she had to leave.

Don't forget to do one of Mr Spock!
I finished Mr Spock last week. He gave me a bit of trouble as the yarn for his face was thicker than the other colours so I had to alter to the patter and make his head again. There is a Captain Kirk from the same designer so I might make him too.
I've just finished 2 more projects that still need sewing up and I'm working on another one too so more pictures to follow soon.
