We've had a go before but we were unsure! Yes, iris has a white patch. Daisy is solid yellow with red eyes Bertie's face is yellow. 😊 Okay, then, here goes:
Bertie: Single Factor Yellowface Type 1 Sky Normal
Billy: Single Factor Yellowface Type 2 Mauve Spangle
Iris: Cinnamon Sky Dominant Pied with incomplete expression**
Blithe: Double Factor Spangle with sky suffusion
Daisy: Creamino with suffusion (I switched it from Lutino after your recent comments)
Colin: Grey Dilute Spangle
George: Light Green Spangle
Lucy: Sky Normal
** The 'old -timers' would say Iris was split to recessive pied. When it comes to the theory of single factor recessives somehow poking their heads out and manifesting visual traits, I am agnostic. I can think of no other example in the genetics of domestic animals where such a phenomenon occurs. What does commonly occur in budgies and other species, is a dominant trait that incompletely expresses itself--Blithe's double factor spangle, for example. So that's my call for Iris.
If anyone knows of breeding experiments involving Iris-type birds that proved this was an expression of recessive pied, I'd love to know about them.

Iris has a slight lack of colour on one back wing feather tip and the pied spot and that would be her only expression of dominant pied. Is that what you mean or have I misunderstood?

In addition, the photos suggest the color on her chest is not solid and there are patches of white. Yes?

No, all of Iris belly and chest are the same shade of blue. Iris has a slight lack of colour on one back wing feather tip and the pied spot and that would be her only expression of dominant pied. Is that what you mean or have I misunderstood? Yes, that's what I meant.

Okay, doesn't change anything except I'd slightly modify my call by adding clearflight pied with incomplete expression along side dominant pied with incomplete expression as the two possible explanations for the pied patch and wing tip.

It being bedtime and them being in "bed" for the night, I tried to get better photos. These guys are very skittish with me and hard to photograph. I may have failed! Hopefully it shows that Iris belly is all the same colour at least though Thanks for helping me with their mutations, they are a pretty bunch Daisy and Iris
Colin
Billy (+Daisys clear flight feathers)

Thanks for the new photos. Yes, now I see the even color on her chest. I did notice Daisy's white flights earlier. This further confirmed creamino. I hadn't seen Billy's flights in the earlier photos. They are not clear flights, per se, since the spangle pattern is there. They actually confirm that he is a blue series bird with a heavy yellowface spread over body and wings that decided to stop short of his flights. They are indeed a lovely bunch and what a range of mutations--from Blithe's ethereal, icey beauty to Billy's saturated deep tones. You need one more, Marianne Marlow : a pied of any of the three types. Male. And breed him to Iris and let's find out if that 'split to recessive pied' business has any validity. And they'd be lovely, I'm sure, given everything Iris brings to the match.

yellowfacedviolet Ha ha, sorry there will be no breeding here. I merely take in waifs and strays and have not risen to the heady heights of a breeder. If Billy, Iris, Colin and Daisy were not being kept in a tiny cage in the middle of someones room, being stalked by a housecat then I wouldn't have had the fortune to meet them. There are plenty that need homes without me adding to it

Been trying to take a photo of Iris back for the last 20 minutes, she keeps flying away from me. Billy let me take several nice photos of him, even close up while he sang Yes, a month already! Next week we have someone coming to fit a new bathroom fan and also a decorator to touch up the bits that got ruined in the last flooring disaster. Love your photos Marianne Marlow! Especially blithes bum and the last one of that lot of Iris - she is a sweetheart I too cant believe it is a month since youve been home?!

Sorry to bore you all to tears with more photos. I wanted to get the back of Iris wing and her pied spot. I did my best, she's off at the sight of a camera. I have included one of Billy "just because" he's sooo pretty and let me take loads of photos! You can't catch me - part 1 You can't catch me - part 2 I will sing to myself while you take photos mum
