Yes Hezz and thank you - I send my vet an email with his progress and what's happening. The first recent time when he regurgitated we had a rather violent thunderstorm during the night that woke us all up but I didn't hear the boys flapping around. Yesterday I didn't identify anything out of the ordinary that might have upset him. It was the first time I've ever seen him regurgitate after getting his medicine. Morgan I haven't actually seen him eat any of the pellets. I hear him digging through them to get at the seeds. A couple times a day I pull out his feed cup and blow off the shells and put it back. so, throughout the day the proportion of pellets to seeds gets higher. Tthe pellets are fairly small already - about the size of an oat.

Yes, Marianne Marlow I'm looking at Jan on the calendar and smiling! Yesterday I looked below where he was perching and saw a little puddle of clear liquid. I'm not sure how it came out of him because I was looking at him when in happened. He didn't have any wet, matted feathers either around his beak or vent, so no clues there. This is new and hopefully won't show up again. This morning he woke up cheerful and tweeting along with Buddy.

criswell today Tweetie Pie had his last of the 30 day medication. He's been chipper, singing and playing. A couple of nights he had some black/dark charcoal colored gooey poops. I'm not sure if that's significant or not. The next few days will be telling. Hopefully he doesn't start regurgitating again. We see the vet next week on Wed.

keeping everything crossed he stays ok now. the colour of the poops could also have been from the meds, or something he ate, if they are normal again, I would say it is ok

Thank you everyone! I am trying to stay positive and not put a bad spin on everything new or different that I see.
Tweetie Pie woke up early (for him) this morning and started chirping and calling right along with Buddy. They are still in different cages but across from each other so they see each other. He's been active, chirping and playing. His overnight poops were some black gooey and some normal black and white. I'm still trying to get him to eat the sprouts. I have been offering him them first thing with a bit of millet sprinkled on top. The little rascal eats the millet and leaves the sprouts. I'm hoping he'll try the sprouts and decide that they are good. Buddy has been such a sweetheart and eats his sprouts. I also give Tweetie Pie grass or herbs later in the morning along with a seed/pellet mix. He eats his greens but picks the seeds out from the mixture. The vet says that eating food other than seeds will be key to his continued health.
