A yellow moth! I have never seen a yellow one before. I had to get up on the stepladder to take a photo.

The description matches tour photo, so I’d say so. What a lovely colour. My youngest’s worst phobia is moths. He won’t go in a room where there’s one and panics if a butterfly comes anywhere near. I keep him well away from the buddleia as we have had so many red admirals on it this year.

Definitely a Brimstone moth…..I love moths! Was abroad once and had the Atlas moth sitting on my hand….largest moth in the world!

I was going to make a new thread about this but decided not to. Now I just can’t resist - I read that as a visitor in our ceiling. We currently have a very large slithery visitor in our ceiling. Sounds like a large rug being dragged across a floor. Any guesses what that might be?? A very pretty moth, a lovely visitor to have.

Once again Hezz you remind me that while I love budgies and would love to be able to live in Australia and see them in the wild I will stick to the UK and instead enjoy things like finding a brimstone moth on the ceiling 🤣

Wow, you have a snake in your ceiling!! What kind? if you know? I was going to make a new thread about this but decided not to. Now I just can’t resist - I read that as a visitor in our ceiling. I'd certainly care if it was poisonous or not, so I could get rid of it and take the danger away from my budgies! "What kind" Who gives a S*** what kind it is Marianne🤣🤣🤣 A snake is a snake 😱😱 I'd be in a B&B somewhere 😜🤣🤣

I'd think all snakes poisonous or not would be a danger to budgies, but I take your point.
So, therefore, I'd be in a B&B with the budgies 😁

Yes, I meant that I couldn't tackle it myself if it was poisonous. I'd think all snakes poisonous or not would be a danger to budgies, but I take your point. So, therefore, I'd be in a B&B with the budgies 😁

Wow! Now that sound would take some getting used to Hezz. Isn't it kookaburra's that eat snakes? Maybe you could adopt a kookaburra Seriously though, will it move out on it's own do you think or will a little encouragement be in order?
