I'm also not fond of clothes shopping! I thought it was something women were meant to enjoy, along with handbags and shoes
I only buy clothes from Asda's George range, I'm a bit dull.

I'm not a handbags or shoes person either. I'd rather spend money on the birds than myself, it gives me more enjoyment.

I hate clothes shopping. I won’t try things on in the stores as I always prefer space when I get home. I order from Next mostly. I have so many t shirts from them, as they do big variety of colours
M&S not so much now as their sizings all over the place
I’ve had tops from Tu at Sainsbury - they’re pretty good
I never used to like bags as kept the same one going for work, but now I’m not working, I’ve bought a few, mainly tkmaxx

OMG Women's changing rooms and being expected to change in front of everyone... err no thanks!
I once went to Primark to see what all the fuss was about, never again, there were just hangers and clothes all over the floor!!

Mostly now they’re individual but I get hot and bothered. At home I can relax. I tend to order similar clothes so I know they’ll be ok. Next, I have 6 T-shirts all the same, diff colours and they wash well. Leggings, a few diff colours.
Summer is harder. I have their linen straight dresses that are still too tight. I also buy stuff like that in the sale as they go half price. My coats from there, the same.
Primark is my thick anorak which is a man’s but no diff - paid £10 and their boots - like ankle heavy ones £9
So I’d say for the odd thing, go into Primark. But the rest, nah online is best
I've watched TV programmes and seen women going into posh shops in London, New York etc and spending THOUSANDS of pounds on handbags, I just don't understand it.
I'm just not a materialistic person at all.

nor me.. I cannot understand why it has to be designer. Unless I had millions, that is and even then....
annoyingly, I had bought new boots - long and ankle in m&s sale whenever, but then when I broke my toe last year, they do not feel ok, as though I can walk ok, that toe is bent. as a year or more ago, I cannot take them back.. hate the waste of things like that.
hate buying shoes at the best of times.. they always feel ok when I try them on.. then they don't
but the boot things from primary and a similar thing in canvas from Tesco - which were £9, so comfy.. crazy

My best advice is to google the brands that you like and that you know will fit and then buy from the places that carry that brand at the best price. I find that buying brands that I don't know is a hit and miss thing and more often than not, they don't fit. Also you can't know how thick the fabric is or how it will hang on you from the picture. DON"T buy clothes from Amazon unless it it a brand you wear. I have found the sizing on Amazon is Asian sizes since many of the clothes are made there and are being sold by Asian companies. At Christmas, I bought a cute cardigan Christmas sweater in a size large because I wanted a loose fitting, comfy sweater. When I got it, I couldn't even button it, it was so small. Then I realized it must be Asian sizes so back it went. I find returning things an annoyance even if the return is "easy".

The brands that buy are discount or store brands, such as Hanes underwear. I just can't justify spending money on designer brands especially because no one else in my circle of friends wears them or cares. I have a couple of catalog brands that I know fit me like Lands End and Draper & Damon. Sometimes I buy from QVC but I've that their prices are not as good as they used to be.
