I think I read that there was a gluten free one, but not a gluten free vegetarian one, or I would have had that. Out of interest, do they supply gluten free MRE’s? I’m sure I once read that coeliac disease prevents a person going into the forces and that’s understandable if they can’t be fed, but I wasn’t sure if that has since changed.

Typical! Vegetarian and gluten free, I think that was a bit optimistic of me!

Those do look rather tasty, Marianne Marlow. I can manage a flatpack but not a miniature, though when I moved in I did trap my finger putting together the standing desk when I was the only one in the house! Whoops! I'm not sure any of my hobbies are odd. I might have called Dungeons and Dragons odd, but it's growing in popularity. I've tried a few other tabletop rpgs too. Who you're playing with makes or breaks the experience really. And I like vidja games, of course, terrible youth that I am! (What age does middle age start?)

I'm really intrigued by your meals Marianne Marlow. Glad the Korma was nice. Are they expensive?

Spent a long time (which should have gone on college study) inventing a set if rules which my group used to play in preference to the Gygax game. Good times.

They are £21.99 a pack, but the veggie ones are two for £29.99 so I got two as it was better value. I'm enjoying them though and they're still better value than a takeaway and go further I'm really intrigued by your meals Marianne Marlow. Glad the Korma was nice. Are they expensive?

Spent a long time (which should have gone on college study) inventing a set if rules which my group used to play in preference to the Gygax game. Good times. You practically made your own game! In 5th edition, there is now a type of ranger called a swarmkeeper, and you get to choose what form your swarm takes. So one of my group kept saying I should play one with a flock of budgies, and then I sent him a photo from when we had Cocoa the linnie, where Cocoa is on me as I'm dressing his cage, and the budgies are all clustered around on top watching. After that, my friend said that he understood why I haven't made that swarmkeeper yet, because people want to play fantasy characters, not their real life.
