Well both Toby and Barney (the first) have awful wet poos today. I'm guessing (hoping) this is due to the massive amount of egg they ate yesterday. At least that's what I am assuming before I panic. Barney seems fine as far as I can tell apart from that.

The first question is always, "Have they eaten something different?"
I feel confident in predicting that this was a egg-related incident. Eggs are full of moisture and the buds will always eliminate excess fluids.

My little Tweetie Pie has AGY and its been almost 3 years since he was diagnosed with it and received the 30 day course of treatment. His behavior sounds exactly like Toby. The vet told me that they never get rid of it but it can be controlled with diet. He'll get watery poos from time to time depending on what he's eating but it clears up in a day or two. I closely control how much seeds they get - both eat together. Although I read AGY is highly contagious, I'm thankful Buddy did not catch it. The vet thinks Buddy has a strong immune system.
Although Tweetie Pie sleeps/naps much of the day, he comes out to fly around the room and play on top of the cage. He calls to Buddy and plays with him. I've been keeping an eye on Tweetie Pie and weighing him. I also introduce budgie safe food to him and keep feeding him the foods he likes. Yes, it all takes effort but he's such a swept and pretty little guy, I love him, so I don't mind.

Slow diet changes rather than rapid, though, or it can aggravate the yeast. Do they have grit, blueelephant?

Agree, Ira. I always introduce one new food at a time. I give it to them about 4-5 days in row because it takes them that long to get up the courage to try it.

No, blueelephant. Someone just asked me in case you happened to give insoluble grit and that was causing a problem. And I didn't think you did but wasn't sure.

Slow diet changes rather than rapid, though, or it can aggravate the yeast. I was about to add just this to the conversation. An over dose of any single food can cause a poop change so after a day of munching down on their scrambled egg it is not surprising at all for them both to be showing signs. Since they both love their egg, could it become more of a diet staple, especially if it helps keep Toby’s weight up? It might mean a fair bit of waste unless you know someone with bantams.

I meant to ask when you visited. How is Toby getting on?
