It is So we bought this eggfood and some egg snack sticks and cooked a egg...and ofc Piphans dident like any of it. I tryed to give her some of it in a spoon and in my hand. She usualy likes to eat from my hand. But i mixed the eggfood with her seeds in her cage and on the playground. So now i hope some of the egg gets inside her belly. She seems to get better for each day and she started to chirp a bit today. I can see several small pins in her head that starts to grow new feathers. So molting period isent over. The paste we gave her when she was sick was Zoolac paste in a syringe. It contains probiotic. But her droppings are normal now and she eats and drinks alot now. So now i will focus on this eggfood. She did taste the hardboilet egg today..she ate some of the white "meat" but dident like the yellow stuff "yoke". She ate like 4 bites of the egg and went over to the seed bawl that now also contains egg parts
I tryed to cut the hardboiled egg in to small pieces that she could eat in one bite. Since she likes food that are in tiny pieces. She dosent eat or chew on food unless its grated or minced or mashed.
We dident try to mash the hardboiled egg. But now we have this snack stick with egg and mixed the eggfood in her regular food. So we should be good for now ?

All sounds good, especially as she seems to have improved and is eating, drinking as normal and her droppings are back to normal.

Yes she went from vomits and not eating and was fluffed up and had fluid droppings. To a better state today I keep warming her on my finger with my nose against her belly ever day when i come home from work. Like on the picture. <3

Just a littel update on Piphans. Here you can see how she looks with pins in her head. Beside the molting period, then she seems to doing fine. Sometimes her droppings seems to be fluid but looking at her cage where she sleeps, then the droppings looks normal. We still keep an eye out for her. For now i think its just her molting period that takes a toll on her.

Moults can cause upsets to the droppings at times, so hopefully that’s all it is. Does she bath, or like to be sprayed when she has pin feathers? I find mine drink more than they would normally if getting/having a bath so that may also be a factor.

No Piphans is not a water bird at all. We had her for 3 years and she only had a bath 3 times..basicly 1 bath pr year. We have a bathtub on top of her cage that we put on the cage exit when its night time and she is ready to sleep. She only drinks from it.
I try to take her to the kitchen sink often and let a small stream of water run, but when she see the water stream then she fly away...
I also tryed a small bowl and a plate with low water level. And i tryed a spray but she got scared.

That’s okay, I just thought it might have been a factor that you hadn’t considered.
PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY, by the way.
