Came to stay this weekend, they loved having the budgies indoors and took quite an interest in them, talking to them and helping me to clean them and feed them and put them to bed, they got up and came straight downstairs in the mornings to uncover them. Soo sweet, trouble is they want a budgie of their own my daughter is not amused ;D I've told them that maybe if i have more babies they can have one each and keep them here . They decided that i needed a stained glass window, i love it My favorite

Very beautiful drawings Who is next to the penguin? So they took away the budgie germs from Grandma. Great, we have some future budgie owners ;D

Thanks Moogie, they spend ages drawing, if i need a break and a sit down out come the pens and paper ;D i must be getting old, I'm exhausted when they leave BB I'm secretly converting them my little granddaughter is so much like me at that age, she loves all animals and bugs and loves looking after them, she is first up in the morning to feed her two cats and the dog oh and her fish, she is only 6 And the one next to the penguin is a picture of her RNLI teddy.

You surely are one lucky Nan. The budgie drawings are really quite good - birds are hard to draw, and these were definitely recognisable. I have to ask - what is an RNLI teddy? Ah, ha found it: Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Are the bears a way for them to raise funds?

They are fantastic. Kids are so honest in their drawings. It's really refreshing.

Oh that's so sweet of you all, im glad i posted it now, i hesitated not sure if i should post or not but im glad i shared it with you and must show them your lovely comments.
Yes Hess, they have just been to Cornwall for a week and they love going into the RNLI shop, they sell some lovely bits, i always buy my Christmas cards from there, they have a shop in most of the UK seaside towns and depend on them to boost funds, i never mind buying from them as its such a good cause.
