Another one has gone today. around 10 days old and the same nest as the last one. All 3 that have gone have been albino?? Again no signs of blood or struggle at all?
Im the only one that has anything to do with my babies and such like so no one would have taken them out. I have asked them and they said no they wouldnt even no what nest had babies.
I think i may invest in a cctv camera in on the aviary and see if i can spot anything. If it were a mouse would they take them so cleanly?

So just to clarify that there would defiantly be blood if a mouse or rat was to take one?

So just to clarify that there would defiantly be blood if a mouse or rat was to take one? yes unless theres a hole big enough to get the chick out in one piece ...and this you should be able to see .... post [pics of your set up we might spot some thing you dont see ...give us pics ...inside the roof where the nest boxes are ...and the floor ...walls ect...

Well i have had no more chicks go missing. I do have a lock on it but a didnt lock it up in the day just of a night but i have started locking it through the day time aswell now. There is no holes that i can see that vermin can get a chick out of but i will post some pictures of my set up tommorow and see if you guys can spot anything. A bit of the floor in my avairy had been stood on and damaged the other day too and it wasnt done by myself so thats making me think that someone has been in there too? I am going to get myself a CCTV unit pointing onto the aviary and also an alarm for if the door gets opened. I havent got a big set up though so why someone would want to come and steal the odd chick is beyond me. Thanks again for all the help

This is a very unnerving story serz, what a horrible thought that someone could have been in to your Aviary and taken your birds. I never lock my Aviary, think i will start.

Can you get a motion-sensor light set up to point away from the aviary, it would pick up vermin, cats, dogs, people, anything coming in range of the aviary?

Quick update for you all. I have had no missing babies since i started keeping my aviary locked at all times. Which leads me more to believe that it was someone taking them. Theres no holes anywere that a cat or anything could have gotten in so maybe someone was sneaking in and taking the babies one by one hoping that i wouldnt notice. Seems strange that they were all albino too. Heres some pics of the aviary from the outside cracked floor (not a very good pic) the nest box on the right is the one they all went missing from
