Good luck Noah. Ask questions Liz, the vet will charge you enough for his/her time so make sure you get all you need from it. I would write them down before I go and write down the answers the vet gives you too. Or you might get home and go "eh what?" I know I usually do.... Also then we can prise all the detail out of you later.........!

hi lizb, well done on cleaning the vent just make it stays clear the trouble with budgies they hide there illness very well and is hard to spot the signs untill its normally to late,im sure when you get to know your bird you will notice the differance in him if he ever gets ill again its just a shame that you had to go through all this in a very short time you have had him but im sure he will be ok as you said he dosnt seem to be getting any worse, keep us updated all the best

I have also brought some guardian angel for after any meds if he has any that is he defo is not right but not worse he has not eatten but on the upside is not hidin in corners he is perching on his seed bowel on the floor he is also talking to Winnie a bit more lets see what the vet says ! Also treated for mites Winnie was a pain to catch but I guess if she was not I would be worried !

hi is there any way that you could seperate them just untill the other is better so your other bird hasnt got a chance of catching it also,try putting in some millet spray ive had a sick bird in the past and all it ate was millet untill it got better

They r separated and in dif rooms the first hour I had him the cage was next to winnie so just treated her just in case
