Julie, I would be advising the breeder or Beauty's problems too. If she is as badly affected as this, chances are the rest of his birds are too. Ivermectin treats both internal and external parasites, remember, so really there is no excuse for Beauty to be so badly infested. I am remembering this because today I went to give both lots of birds a worming before letting them mix, then *facepalm* , they have all had one or more doses of ivermectin. I can't wait to see Beauty looking her naturally beautiful self ...... no worms!

What a relief. Let's hope it is all good from here. Are all the worms gone from her poop?

I think I can safely say Beauty has recovered totally and seems to be fit and well and back to normal.. she is now very chirpy and tweeting back to Jenny and Olly down stairs ;D She is so cute and knows when she sees me getting her baytril ready and starts climbing around the cage to make it difficult to catch her ;D, she even managed to struggle out of my hand today and went flying around the bedroom .. she is also giving me a sharp peck which she was far too weak and ill to do this time last week . She finished her course of baytril tomorrow and I have to give her 2 more drops of the warmer the weekend and then that's all he medicine finished. I am so relieved she pulled through as I was worried sick as she is such a beautiful girl and even though I havent had her long I have grown to love her to bits.
