I went to clean their cage this morning and noticed runnyish poo and Beauty is quieter than normal and does look more fluffed up ...although she is eating as I type . So I looked up similar topics on here and went and got some guardian angel which I have put in their water and I also got some probiotic and put a pinch in their food .. have I done right ?

Is beauty in a draught or have you changed the diet? Keep her warm, wrap a hot water bottle in a cloth in the cage, and cover the sides to keep heat in. Change the cage papers so you can see if/when there are any poo changes for the better (or hopefully not worse)... Can you think of anything that may have caused a change? Is she still eating now?

Draughts can make them very poorly. Fix that now and warm her up and see how she is... I'm off to school now, I'll be back later to see how she's doing. Best wishes x

I have put thier cage ontop of the vivarium where the heat from the heatlamp in the viv will keep it warm its not boiling, just a nice warm temperature

Good idea, but I'd still use a hot water bottle as well so she can cosy up to it if she wants extra heat, it nearly always helps them feel a bit better if they are toasty warm.... Keep a close eye on her now and hopefully she'll have a good feed and her poo will settle back to normal. If she seems to be quivering/shivering and stays fluffy, and doesn't appear to eat anything at all she will need to see a vet tomorrow. She will probably be tired from the physical effort of trying to stay warm so she will be a bit sleepy I expect. Trust your instinct and post any further concerns so we can help. Someone with more knowledge than me will probably be on shortly to give their advice too!

Sounds like an improvement if she's up off the floor... check on her often and review the poo and seed husk situation in the cage!!

She seems a lot better and has drank some more of her guardian angel water and had a good feed and is moving around her cage and her feathers are not fluffed . So thanks for the help and advice Sarah, lets hope she continues to improve
