Hello everyone. I am so pleased to tell you that, at last, I now have two male budgies. I intended to have four and will do, but I have to wait until January-ish to get the next two and of course, they will be babies. I collected them yesterday from the breeder and they seem to be settling in, Harvey (the green one) is VERY loud and Oscar (the grey) is a sweetie! Here are some pics of each of them..... They are - I think: cinnamon grey and a cinnamon green opaline. Attachments:

Aaaawwwww thank you guys. I am so pleased to have got them at last, a bit disappointed that I couldn't get four straight off, but at least the next two will be babies and the breeder said I could have the pick of the 'litter' so to speak, which is really exciting!! I don't want to go to work and leave them now I have them, but I suppose I have to earn some pennies to supply them with loads of toys!

Yes it has been a long wait! I am now so impatient to get them both trained and I have only had them 5 days. I put my hand in the cage 2 or 3 times a day and they don't flap around now. Harvey is a bit of a bully to Oscar - he dive bombs him and makes him fall off his perch!! Oscar is so sweet and doesn't get too angry just a couple of squawks! When I have been out and come back home there's all these yellow feathers and seed shucks all round the outside of the cage on the floor. I know who the culprit is - the little bully!! Strange there aren't any grey feathers aye?? Neither of them seem interested in their veggies yet and the breeder said he fed them veggies. Perhaps I am being impatient again? They do however seem quite happy and settled in their new home.
