Ouch your poor toe ..... . that must hert like hell... ... what you have done is all looking great julie ... . but i just noticed in one pic ..... you havent insulated the roof .. . that is the most important bit to do ...... as all the heat will go through there ..... plus when its frosty ...... it will be very cold in there..... you must insulate the roof and board it off as well... other wise you have waisted your time doing the rest ..

Went and got more polysterene yesterday and then measured the roof and took myself off to the timber merchants and had them to cut the ply to size for the roof. I am going to stick the poly on the roof today . Yesterday I also managed to get one coat of white emulsion on the walls..
I enjoy doing things like this and seeing the progress and end result .. But just dont ask me to do any cooking I bloody ate anything to do with cooking and I can`t even watch a cooking programme on tv I have to switch over

;D ;D I love it!!!! My hubbie can't cook for nuts but must watch absolutely every one - even if they need sub-titles!!!!!!! Sooooo boring for the rest of us! I am not very handy, but a better handy-man than he will ever be ............. but he does have one saving grace - he can save a life better than me! He is a nurse (in a previous life). That' a big plus!

Hubby is a painter and decorator so will leave the final coat to him .I have put 2 coats of matt emulsion on but he is going to put a final coat of vinyl matt to finish as he says thats better than it silk which would be too shiny but it will still be able to wipe it clean. Will put some new batteries in the camera and take some nmore photos

You can see where I have stuck the poly to the roof in this photo The landing platform and opening is painted The sloping gap between the wire panel and the roof was a pain in the a%* to fit because I didnt have enough ply left so I had to patch and make do with what I had but I got there in the end and I am quiet proud as its all my own work And the flight entrance got painted
